the Ja’dye Song
You stepped into this college, not knowing what would be
Excited yet unsure, the hope of new beginnings (x2)
In the hall you met your Ja’rox; O-morning began, you had admin talks
Met Levanox and Kasegon, everyone was so damn on (I’m sure!)
Ja’cozy time with all of you, people you never knew
Cavewomen and the Echo *Arya, the Sundance, the Raindance and the Soleila
At ½ time the factions were neck to neck; but Kasegon triumphed and claimed victory back
And Levanox…got taupok-ed on stage!
That’s why we are here, to be the light that sets you on your way (x2)
We dreamed a common dream, a dream of what Raffles could mean
A dream to find the love that binds and leaves no one behind
And many years from now, do look back and smile
Remember we were always there for you…the dream came true
It was day 2, we met the ninjas, scary people, they shouted “Her-ha!”
They were all in black and white, they were painters but wanted to fight
To defeat the evil emperor, restore colour, turtle power!
Kasegon was carried off, by Donatello with one arm’s force
You painted your Ja’los with all of your hearts, Levanox won, kicking Kasegon’s butt
You cheered the pillars apart!
That’s why we are here, to be the light that sets you on your way (x2)
Rentak was where you arrived, the Relac-ers were sleep deprived
Now without their princess, the Relac-ers couldn’t care less
On the journey you embarked, looking for your coconuts
The monkeys were so comical, Jaxoras the musical
Monkey king sang “No more buts!”, Kasegon had apparently more nuts
We were so stealth at Fountain of Wealth (shh!)
A pervasive beat, an unstoppable bop, Levanox dancers couldn’t be stopped
Amazing race around Singapore, so much fun we wanted more
A giant crest of the 24th, to new RJ, we set forth
The factions still there full of woe, the Oracle shouted “Wrong video”
Kasegon and Levanox united as one, 3000 years later, the 4 *Fac capts come
Together as Raffles, we’ve begun!
You’ve come so far, but it’s just the start,
We hope the love will endure in your hearts
As we look back on Jaxoras, remember the dream…
You will always belong…to the Rafflesian Team…
Now it’s time for O-Nite, the end of Jaxoras in sight
