It seems that I'm blogging here more than the frequency of me blogging at my own blog, which is also larger than the frequency of me going out with my class.. You wonder why Hock Boon used to be the only one blogging.. That's because he was mugging while everyone was partying at Macs. Then now in an attempt to mug even more, he comes up with the excuse that his parents banned him from the computer (reason being overuse) and possibly he's blocked us from his MSN to prevent us catching him online..

Just something to add, Cornylamer put TCube's famous quote as part of his MSN display name..

Hi all! Had CO orientation today... they were playing some "mystery" game, which we had to find out who what when happened... quite funny lar, because some teams couldn't find enough clues so they gave rubbish answers... like Hongwan stole the don't-know-what from the CO room through the window.., like there are windows in the CO room.... but my group was quite crap... initially we had 6 pple, and only 3 of us were relatively enthu, so later 1 when off, and 2 more spotted their OGs, and decide to leave the 3 of us to find the seniors down at Orchard... hmmph... anyway, we were pretty close to guessing the answer... just got the item wrong...=(

Oh yes, must mention that my class was super lame yesterday-- during Chinese, they were all asking how to write stuff in Chinese, and f maths became geng4 yuan3 de4 shu4 xue2, sin cos tan became zui4 guo4, ying1 wei4 and chen2... the lamest was trip science(die1 dao3 de4 ke1 xue2)....=)

Anyway, I think Ben, you misunderstood... the force A force B thing was referring to someone trying to jack others but ended up being jacked back.... by the way, Tecktee hasn't blogged for some time.... someone go prod him please...

Home from a long day out. quite shagged.

ODAC today was quite sad. only 11 J1s turned up. the J2s outnumbered us... 2 girls... and they had to split us up into two different groups. Wu dao was 45 mins late and had to run to catch up with us. did a lot of walking (quite fast speed too) and the worst or best part was getting wet and slightly muddy. oh well. still can't decide if i am going to continue with it. seems interesting enough even if it is a bit exhausting. and takes up 3 days of the week. to slack or not to slack? that is the question. coz i am not sure about the PEARLS aspect in terms of ODAC and i sort of gave up on it already since i can never achieve A or R anyway. oh well

anyway. i am starting to agree that people are not blogging enough. everyone blog!

Yeah Ben I like the way you phrased it: "we'll stand strong while we slowly watch other OGs collapse one-by-one..." Haha already my friends are amazed that we still stay out till 10+ at night. It's such an achievement for Sixireon but why can't parents understand? =D

Btw looking at everyone I'm beginning to see how nice my parents are... at least I can stay late and they won't do anything... Or are they smart enough to know that I'll feel bad anyway?

And if no one's blogging, it's bcos by the time we reach home we sleep or do tutorials... no time for blogging haha. Imagine catching the last mrt ("mert") ride home. Fun isn't it?

Today I went for Math Soc from 2.30 to 3.00 playing Bridge in LT4 watching Xing Cong making a fool of himself (to Hock Boon's delight) and then when Joel came and took us to the Speaker's Corner (i.e. our jacosy), the games began but after two rounds of pass the parcel I left for PE. I intend to use 4 different CCAs for different parts of PEARLS. And Math Soc is mainly for E only.

PE was from 3.50 to 5.10 and then I had to sleep during the video on weights room which I hardly am going to visit as far as I know.

Then I skipped Harmoc to go volleyball trials since I didn't pay up for the Harmoc on Thursday anyway, and the trials ended at 6.30. Sad to say that though I did have connections in the team, I somehow did well for practices but poorly for the actual tests. The spiking I hit the first 4 straight into the opp court but I lost touch when the real thing came. Digging was a disaster and so is being 1.64m short.

At 7 I continued to play casual volleyball until I thought that it was time to go BBQ at 7.20 (I was hoping my class had finished the BBQ and was waiting for someone to finish up) Little did I know that they had barely started the fire or I would have gone for astro club. I doubt I'm gonna drop out of Astro cos it can give me valuable points (except P,L,S,) if I can make it which is unlikely also.

The BBQ was the junior treat senior thingy and it seemed like 2 separate class parties. Then when the J2s came and asked to help us cook my class went to a landing to play Truth or Dare and I went out on the excuse of getting chicken wings for the class. It was so obvious I wouldn't wanna get to answer cos the standard question were things like choose one member of the opposite gender to bring on a V-day date.

Anyway, how come no one posted today? C'mon Sixireon, we'll stand strong while we slowly watch other OGs collapse one-by-one.. As for basketball, it's postponed but it can well be considered cancelled as the rain will carry on for the next week I think..

Whee... finally got my bro's lazy butt of the laptop. shall blog for the fun of it.

today was really fun after astro. stay at macs play boom-o (is that what it's called) however, i must say the consequence of staying out after 11 is too great... at least didn't get too badly scolded by my dad... dare not ask him about class stayover on sunday though. haiz.

is no one else other than 9 people in our og going to continue astro? quite sad a decrease from last week. however today wasn't interesting as there were too many clouds and they let us real early which accounts for the letting us of 'early' even if i did arrive home later. oh well.

bridge on the train was quite sad since we had to keep washing. and the cards were so unequally distributed... and we had to play fast before huiling left at outram.

Ben you really not continuing maths soc is it? so sad. it is rather interesting and quite fun. today at least. i hope huiling agrees and i am not being an idiot or anything.

anyway. lesson learnt for today is that surviving with huiling for 4 hours (no offence huiling) and not killing her after that is really a very impressive feat in my opinion. i shall not add details.

Huiling still wanna kill you but i have more or less calm down. i forbit you to write or say anything on what happens during maths soc (esp the end bit)

Why am I posting at such a late time at night? Don't ask cos someone was blowing a top at me (pardon my gamma) cos I came home only after the news ended while I still was on the bus.. Which was what Hockboon claimed would happen to him but which doesn't sound very likely since he has to be dragged to watch TV.

Btw, Teck Tee has successfully reached the first stage of his wonderful 'adventure' - Denial.
And I don't know what adverb to use but seems Woonyang has also reached that level.

As for the force = reaction force idea, I really think it doesn't fit in literally unless you want to say that the Earth exerts a pull on humans and humans also exert a pull on the Earth only that it is the Earth which stays put when we jump because of its huge mass. But when a human is being pulled by gravitational fields of other competing planets, she has to decide which one she'll allow herself to be pulled towards.

Usually forces refer to push not pull though I understand what Huiling was driving at I felt I had to bring this up, and plain water is obviously the best choice over any other beverages.

Pay Day was more interesting last night because TCube employed a new strategy to counter the idea of "your money is my money". And not that I want to say but he seems to be making his so-called mistakes (during the conversation) on purpose, though he says he is only rumoured to be part of the conversation. Good, now no one understands a word that I am saying. I like your style.. Anyway, it was quite obvious why he was so anxious to let someone win, same theory as "your money is my money".

I screwed up the bridge trials in the afternoon. The hands were rigged such that I would bid for the contract for two rounds while the opponents would bid for the contract for two other rounds. And each team was given a chance to go on a small slam (win 12/13) but then the round was void when somehow one person had one less card. I mean, it was such a perfect game, and I was the declarer in that bid. So I don't know whether I can qualify. Anyway I think I would go for Harmonica instead. Music appeals to my ears and harmonica is fun from what I think I tried 9 years ago. They said that it is ok to attend one training a week to get the attendance but for competition and concert purposes, they request us to attend both trainings sessions. So which means I can join Harmonica. Yeah!.. I don't know whether I am dropping out of astro as yet.. I expect to be dropping Math Soc also so who cares.. As long as I get a C for CCA its more than perfect..

Can we drag more people to come and blog? Now there are fewer posts per day already. Anyway, I better sleep now.. It's roughly 4 hrs before the time I need to get up..

Hai... had Chem Pract today... I redid the expt 3 times... while pple happily did it once and finished very early... let's see... first time I spilled the solid, second time I poured too much water, third time... let's see.... third time was correct!!! Maybe I really do suck at Pract (and choke on the pipetted liquid as well)... but anyway, let's be optimistic... well... at least I had more practice than anyone else....=)

Oh yes, me and junjie are heading the "drinks stall", but you all should approach me first... because the co-organizer is a tad busy with... ermmm... his own choice of beverages... hahahahahaha....=)

Btw, Tecktee-- if body A exerts a force on body B, then body B exerts an equal but opposite force, -F on body A..... =)

BUT BUT must cheng2 qing1 lah, since this concerns the reputation of many people, like our popular Ms Sleeping Beauty and sporty Mr Tcube and other people. We were really just joking around since we have nothing better to do lah, so EVERYTHING said and mentioned today should not be taken for real.

That said, if anyone needs any help approaching anyone (in Sixireon or not), you can look for any og-mate to help make connections... this group will be headed by the 2 sadistic engineers ie me and Huiling (yeah I'm dragging you along =)...

This is the first time in don't know how long I had dinner at home...

G.P. was pretty interesting today.... we had this little "tests" which were actually quite fun... basically it's supposed to show that guys are better at spatial concepts while girls are better at language and memory or something like that... but the results were quite odd... because the girls did as well as the guys for spatial concept, the girls did better than the guys for language(however, the average was way below national average for both guys and girls). The weird one was the memory one... cos most guys did worst(14~18/26), except for 3 guys who scored 24/26... (and the 3 happen to be avid bridge players...)... the girls generally did better(16~20/26) and I scored the highest among girls.... (24/26)... hmmm.. maybe bridge improves your memory or something... then again, can't be... I just lost a key.... so I'll come early tomorrow to look for it...=(

I wanted to be the first to post but I was beaten by Weifen.. Then as I was about the publish I realised Huiling also posted liao..

Must add my excuses why we lost.. For you guys it's reasons but to myself it is just a bunch of excuses I'm using to console myself.. Just to share..
Firstly, the other team came on with all guys (mainly sportsmen and the fittest UG corporals and what have you) whilst we gave everyone a chance to play.. Not that guys are better but you know we tend to exert our physical abilities more.. NO not another GP lesson..
Secondly, I don't really wanna say this but they somewhat lacked basic sportsmanship.. Like they make some noise we give them.. Whereas they clearly ran with the frisbee and the ref just let them.. Maybe that's why they could even catch up in the first place.. Then they took it a step further and beat us in the end..

There was one particular guy that played the full 20 minutes without even thinking of giving way.. That's their ja-rule.. Which we don't have.. Cos all of us are fun-loving people right?

There was another who arrived during the second half and ran up and down the pitch as fast as the wind.. Another thing was their cheapskate 1 metre passes (of which we had none).. Then when we start crowding around they'd just thunder shoot and the sprinter would catch it..

I don't know why I had to give away several seemingly good opportunities which I wasted just in a moment of haste and lack of full concentration.. Blame my PE lesson and Super Hi Intensive Torture which was bent on killing our legs today (TTT and Mich can testify)

Hopefully this won't happen for basketball.. RJ has very few good basketballers in the J1 batch except those who have already been training since December.. As long as the other OGs don't keep pumping sportsman after sportsman, I'm very sure we have the capability to win..

My dream occupation is now like many light years away if I cannot get a good SAT score.. But well it is not just SAT its GP and CL also.. Nvm.. Everytime I blog I say the same thing..

But it'll be nice if I know what "resonating" means or meant.. I just don't foresee myself giving up my youth just to mug like a few thousand words cos I'm not a mugger in the first place unlike our dear friends whom I have pointed out before..

Hmm... frisbee.. Sounds nice.. But me too short for this games.. Actually what you need is a foolproof strategy and some pretty accurate aiming and judge your shots.. E.g. you cannot aim directly at the person you have to throw the frisbee a little to the right and a little higher also..

I have run out of topics to talk about.. Other than to add that I haven't done one tutorial per subject and one assignment for MC, PH, CH.. Sigh... I just hope the teacher's won't be angry with me..

the paper was surprisingly okay. but the problem is always we say its okay afterwards results come out then kenasai. so, err, i shall just withhold my comments. dang, i did leave 2 blanks though. decided not to gamble wat the heck ARBOREAL was and ESCHEW just totally slipped off my mind o.O

michael, i'm pretty sure it's the same format ur teacher made u do. and u're pretty much right about the same words being used over and over again. which is why most guidebooks printed have their own versions of the SAT HIGH FREQUENCY AND HOT PROSPECTS list. yeah, Barron's gives you a 3500 word list too, which is pretty much exhaustive and if you read through em, there's no way you shold encounter any problems with any word at all. but i did the 800 high-freq one and missed out on
only about 3-4 words. so, err yeah. you do the math = p just really glad sats are over because it's been so stupidly draining. sitting in front of word lists and cramming new words into your head. but it's quite fun once you start actually incorporating them into your vocabulary. bah, it's OVER.

Congrats Vicky! You got your broadband! The first week of using broadband always rocks, coz you start seeing dramatic increase in speed. Then your usage increases, and you start wondering why it still takes so long to download files 500mb big... hmm... =D

Haiz... everyone seems to have such a packed CNY hols. For me i have been stoning at home since after yesterday 11pm... i didn't even get to gamble much... my dad decided that 11pm was late enough and i had to leave my cousins house... :( ... quite sad... and i found out that no one in my family knows how to play bridge which is very very sad... they tried to get me to teach them but i gave up after 10 mins...

and somehow me dad decided that this was a nice time to catch up on my chinese... bleh... he's been trying to get me to do that blue colour book. oh well... at least i got a class reunion to look forward to. (Yeatian and Huiling are you guys going?)

heylloooo... i've just returned from malaysia... blahblahblah... and as usual i'm always shortchanged cos ringgit are only worth half the amount... oops!

hmmm rjc teachers seem to be very lax.. a few friends and i were sitting right next to them and we were popping gobstoppers and catching a few winks in between performances and they couldn't be bothered.. that's so cool!

when i was in upper sec, my english teacher gave us a SAT to do every term, i don't know if they're scaled down or if they're samples or whatnot, but the general trend seems to be only a certain group of words being tested... they always recycle their stuff. so if you wanna ace your SATs then just mug those few words... i could be wrong though, the format for the ones she gave and the ones our OGLs are doing may not be the same.. but still..

the hols are passing by damn quickly.. it's already friday night. heh. is there a tryout session for harmoc?

I think the next time I play bridge I'll play with Ms Sleeping Beauty (aka Pei yi), instead of experts like Ms Dear Engine (aka Huiling) who really counts the card and such... let's see, Cheng Lim, Ben, Huiling and someone else. Ah at least they won't be dragged down by a dumb partner like me.

Btw did anyone go Chinatown on New Year's eve to watch the firecrackers? I went with my family, but we left at around 10pm coz the crowd making the whole place so... crowded! =D Anyway we didn't go Chinatown for the firecrackers, rather all the cheap things they were selling...

We would have only lose 1 trick due to a K with junjie...)

Anyway it was fun staying over at Mark's house (thanks for sharing your room =), playing bridge and whatever that soccer thingee is called. And of course Huiling was a very hardworking worker, making sure she slept after all of us did... whao...

Oh and very very sorry I couldn't join you guys for rock-climbing... although I would've loved to... but I guess I should go home since I only told my mom I was staying over at mark's house around 11pm... besides I hafta help with cleaning the house too... cannot slack...

And if you're wondering why I'm staying up at this time, I'm doing this shou3 shui4 thingee for fun. If all goes well I'll go to bed only after sunrise. If something goes wrong... I'll be sleeping in front of the comp haha.

Btw I suppose many (or some) of you would want a copy of the CD with all the songs for orientation. Just drop me an email at junjie_1987@yahoo.com and I'll try to burn a copy for you these few days. A small request though... 50c for the CD (I'm not exactly sure how much it costs), and return me the jewel case (if not I won't have any left.....)...

How was the day today for everyone? see that you all have your animated err comments on what happened for the concert today.. haha the dance was a personal favourite. haha it's just hilarious. = ) what did ya do after that? weird in j1 you're all onz about going back to your secondary school but this year my class did nothing and so in the end i spent the day at the neighbourhood library studying for SATs.

SATs suck. they are just so irritating that i wish i could go out and actually CELEBRATE on saturday after the stupid paper. haha, oh something interesting. i'm taking them at ACJC haha i'm so not wearing my uniform there. bahhh, but i can't celebrate anws. s-papers starting next week, ie need to prepare tutorials. arghhh, never mind. main, focus, now, is, SATs.

if you all can go settle your SATs as soon as you can. gets something really naggy out of the way. and start on your word list early -smiles- sorry, sounding dumb, but you get my point.

Feeling veri the tired after playing bridge like almost the whole night..
Backache worsened when I had to curl my spine to fit into the tiny blanket Mark provided..
the words in italic were posted on first day of CNY
Must add that I was almost going to ROFL when Hockboon exclaimed in KFC that he picked up a call and also when he almost fell off the rocking thingy in the playground..

T-cube was trying to go one round to shoot me when he said our OG provides more challenge at bridge when he was the one who reminded me that I went 4 consecutive games without a trick..

Must add that last night the bridge games were all but boring.. And Huiling noticed something about the style by which Junjie plays.. Somehow he would be very sleepy during bidding and gaming.. I mean everyone was sleepy but that's beside the point.. But he would suddenly perk up when he got a certain person for a partner.. Our attempt at contract bridge failed when Junjie spent 1 minute per trick thinking of what card the dummy should throw..

Then we played Hearts like the last time and it kinda screwed up to find that during trade of 3 cards two people threw clubs at each other so it was clear what each person's strategy was.. Hahahahahahahaa.. And yet again, the two of them, Mel and Huiling, tried to shoot the moon and once I was laming so I decided to dump the ace of hearts when I clearly could have stopped the shooting.. That was also what I did the last time when I thought each person should have his/her fair share of points..

And after Hearts we tried to play a funny game called "Spades" where it was the permanent trump suit and the objective of the game was halfway between Hearts and Bridge.. But then Huiling got a 30 point hand which would have earned a Grand Slam if we had played contract bridge which spoiled the fun altogether..

After that we decided to stick to bridge when I was dealt 2 full houses in an attempt to play taitee... Which started making us feel sleepy and I just konked off without brushing my teeth.. My mum's gonna scold me if she finds out..

Cele for Chinese New Year was quite good.. The performances were too long and dragged.. But just when I thought we would be waiting another half an hour (it was 9.15am then).. The MC declared the end of the celebrations.. Personally that was the best part of the thing.. To be dismissed half an hour early.. But I didn't get to catch sleep as I went gaming and my mum woke me up less than ten minutes after I fell asleep.. Sigh..

Too sleepy to carry on.. The pesty lil bro of mine just read my blog so I better control his mouth before he leaks out my lil tooth secret..

rock climbing rulz... leslie turned up with 4 other guys. yay to him... my hands are now so red that it fits into the whole chinese new year atmosphere. i sincerely hope i will get to see leslie in one piece on mon... sorry leslie that i abandon you half way but i had to go back for reunion dinner. hope you enjoyed yourself. you were quite amusing on the wall but it's not fair that you are so tall. *pout* must go climb again. anyway. thank you Teck Tee for your kit kat. saved my life after climbing when i was starving. i think i actually took a small nap on the wall. belayer didn't mind though. and i slept again (i got a sit!) on the mrt back and missed my stop. i woke up and wondered where i was... looked so blur and flustered that a guy told me that i was at yishun. bleh. (i get of at amk which is like two stop diff!)

Hockboon Not bad, you know how to manupilate the plan.. Unlike someone who spent 47c after 7pm today.. Who else but the _ _ _ ??

Harmonica starts from 35 then rises to 100+ in total.. But I like music so I don't mind.. 2 trainings but according to OXC only 1 session is compulsory and it is likely Friday evening.. which means I can skip Maths club training.. HAHA.. and Sat 2-5pm I can make myself free if need be.. So if there is enough to form a SYF squad, Harmoc can give me 3 for Rep and 1 for achievement (hopefully lah) and maybe 1/2 for Enrichment.. All this CCA is crap lah and I think the max I can reach is 15 points if I am fortunate enough.. And.. Weifen.. no.. 7 CCAs does
not guarantee an A for CCA. But who actually gets As for CCA in the first place.. I mean unless they're like the President Scholars most of them would benefit more spending the extra time on studies honestly..

Back to Hockboon, you really should get some sleep since you live so close to school anyway.. I take 1hr to go to RJC everyday per trip..
And please don't mention GP or SAT or CL.. It is sickening trying to do a news report without myself being a hypocrite of the highest degree.. E.g. telling the teacher that the attitude of students must change when I am a culprit myself..
Sigh.. How will I ever reach the perfect score liddat.. Btw, I am not a mugger nor do I have high expectations of myself, who has not really been mugging for a real long time..

Anyway, during Physics Pract today I lost a pendulum... I don't know how I did it, but it was in my hand for a second, then it disappeared.... and no amount of searching could bring it back... yup... it left me very puzzled and I was wondering about it for the rest of the day.... hmm... do I just suck at practs or what...

Shall go mug now... cos when I was walking out, I saw this left-handed guy doing some work... and I realised it was Junjie.... so if even he's studying, I can't afford to slack...=)

(yes junjie, I'm quite sure you can produce a more accurate count but let's just leave it as that, okay?) who can play contract bridge... (that is under the assumption that the other group over at the other side was playing contract bridge as well)(yar-- must take into account other factors, like the no. of pple who were not present and can play contract bridge, and the percentage of conventions known for each individual blah blah blah... hmm... whatever)Okay, shall not continue anymore lest someone says I am making a personal attack on um.. yar.. that someone.... =) Oh yar, but I must say they're all quite good... as in they really keep track of everything that came out and the chance of success for each trick... hai... typical engineers... =)

Chenglim, I can't find the chenglim station-- is it in the sengkang LRT or the bukit panjang one or another one? By the way, my clssmates keep mentioning your name... but I forgot what for... I think they said you injured your leg or something in P6 and you became really lame...
By the way, Harmoc has two sessions, one on Friday and one on Saturday... and although they say that you must buy the 100+ harmoc, I heard that the $35 one would do...

I hardly have anytime to talk during the free period of 7am to 7pm except on weekends.. Plus I'm not exactly an IBM..

My class is abit the on.. They only went for one lunch.. Of which I missed cos I thought I needed to keep the money for a hair cut, which btw did not turn out well.. Then later on decided to go with you guys to Macs to play bridge using Uno cards.. And the colours of Uno match the 4 faculty colours.. So the 1 of red is Amogh and so on.. And after which you guys went to Lido and abandoned me on the bus.. I later found out that my class was still at the place when you alighted at the bus stop and I would have been deemed a traitor.. Eh, can my classmate who reads this please keep this to yourself.. Which reminds me that I haven't done my Bio tutorial.. Oh no.. The lecturer is crapping around with his lame jokes.. But it's too late for me to go Engine, which is closing down in 3 years..

For those who think that class not as good as OG.. Please remember that you'll be seeing them 45 hours a week so yeah try to make friends and open up.. I am rather infamous among the RI guys who know me and if I have any profile.. It's bad.. So pls don't end up like me..

And then I inserted an "a" after each "l"... so unless my rhythm is wrong... the number should be correct... now counting, it's 19... yup fellow engineer here is especially meticulous too when it comes to numbers...=) Not to mention nice and kind too..... ermm..hmmm... .=)

Hey Ben I thought you're joining maths soc... get rep points from there lah. If not just join something small, like stamp soc etc, I heard you get more chances since the clubs are so small... not sure if it's true...

Btw if the ja-cozy is very inconvenient (no tables or benches), we can always choose another place and call it our ja-convi (ie it's convenient), or ja-meet (ie our meeting place). As long as everyone knows where it is it should be fine... the main thing is that we meet up at these ja- places right?

Astro was quite fun.. I think saturn looked really nice... but electronics was not too bad either... can't wait to design my own circuit board... Hey what a fun day today, wasting our time at the ja-cozy playing taboo and all... and again confirming that I really have a small vocab. Wah if even HB needs to mug SAT word list then I should start really early... coz there's so many words I don't know.

Btw I never realised RJ had such a nice night view. On my way home I looked up and only saw like 2 stars (or maybe planets) and nothing else. Talk about Orion being a winter constellation... I couldn't even find the belt! But it was really quite fun, looking at the sky, (trying to figure out whether left was my left or qiantai's left), running about on the track, etc etc... =D I think I might stick to astro after all... that is if I can stand the teacher...

We seem to be very alive in the morning and on the blog but how many people actually come to the blog other than the usual ones who post? Off-hand I can only recall TTT, HB, JJ, CL, HL, Mel, etc..

Something about my class.. Though they may resemble you guys in some ways, they're not as awesome and not as enthu when it comes to dinner and outings.. What is contrasting about 1S03I is that they have a certain group of girls who do not mix and there are a bunch of 4 RI GEP muggers in my class.. The most scary was when I was sitting at the teacher's table during chem prac and the mugger just off-hand recited the various pH indicators and the colours at which they change colour..

Oh yah and I have the privilege of sitting at the teacher's tables during practicals because RJ only has tables for 25 students per class.. "very good"..

I don't know whether I should change class or even faculty.. Some of my classmates found out that I was not as innocent as I first seemed.. Taitee would know cos he was there..

Biology is totally a waste of my time.. the lecturer cannot teach for nuts and I cannot even understand a single thing he speaks about.. and I have no idea how to do the tutorial worksheet at this rate.. I might even fail Biology if this goes on..
Yet Hockboon says that it isn't easy to score in F maths..

General Paper IS scary.. Shi Ming's batch had only 100+ As and 100+ Bs out of 838......!!!!

And the worse thing is that my teacher tells me that the GP and L2 grade must not exceed 6 when added together in order to enter the more prestigious courses in local universities..!!

In case I cannot come online tomorrow since we're gonna be released REAL late, I got like a call from Joel Tay of Maths Club telling me to go for Maths training from 2.30pm to 3.50pm.. which is my free period!! After which I have PE... =(

Bridge club sounds fun.. but there are just too many GEPpers applying for it..

You are only allowed to register during the stipulated period". !!!! they sent me the letter like a week in advance. BAH. why can't they just let me do it now!

Chem pract today sucked. I poured the wrong stuff in and the stupid burette clip wasn't good enough to stop the acid from spilling out. Oh yes, and I knocked over the conical flask. And used methyl orange instead of screened methyl orange. Shall stop complaining...

Went for dinner with wen (mel ho's rockclimbing partner)... it was quite funny cos we switched to our other hand to eat...(she's left handed)... anyway, is there an official left hander's day or something? If not, I'm just going to make an unofficial one on wen's bday...

yeah!! I am so excited, I am finally here. Having read so many of ur entries and not able to speak here at all, I finally have the chance now. Initially I thought that I am never able to get in here, not until the 10th invitation by Hockboon that I suceeded. So, thanks to HB for his continual persistence and stubbornness. Talking about classes, I dont haf any complaints about my class. I love it as much as I love u guys! Though my class definitely cant hold a candle to u all in terms of activeness and wild spirit. ermm some unimportant personal stuff: I am going to join soccer, OAC and photographic society as CCA. So hope that I can meet some familiar faces from Sixireon there. hey. basically right. i wanna say that i found it damn funny larh, when i woke up. i thought it was a prank cos my glasses weren't at the table where i left it... and remembering now... i slept at right angles to leslie. so i can see where the confusion began. but... looks like the prank wasn't glasses but was something else...

beginning to get lots and lots of notes now. i got a 15pg notes on "what is southeast asia" which i think is propaganda for people like me who aren't very happy being in arts and not humans (like our dear butch is), which keeps on pounding into your head the benefits and reasons why its important to take SEAsian hist, which i think is pure bullshit.

anyway, just wanna say sixireon, that we're friggin good. winning almost all station games, those that we lost were combined with other OGs, OG with probably the highest number of outings, one of the few OGs to do a stayover on O-nite, we're (in)famous for the gay insinuation cheer, we won the best dressed OG competition, (i love my ten hearts) we have fun people, we ARE THE BEST.

hopefully, we'll stay together and even 'chope' a new jacozy at bishan.. if we do.. then we're really good. (as hockboon agrees too...)

oh something interesting fyi, type "kasegon" or "levanox" or "sixireon" or any other OG name into google right, and you can see lots of interesting stuff..... expecially if you type "kasegon". ok oops i just set up our own blog for it as well, lol. see you guys around.

but i liked the part where i was doing chem problems all the way to the mrt station.. btw i haven't solved it yet.. almost banged into my house door thanks to that.. something to brag about.. which some of you have heard thousands of times.. i took less than 10 min to solve a question, which a J1 who had 10 A1s couldn't do.. haahaa.. whee..

my class is actually very nice people.. but they are just swayed by the crowd.. btw, though yeatian is in my class and i am in her class, what we say about our class refers to the other 20+..

about last sat, i didn't notice the part where leslie was going "my specs damn blur" until he threw a funny card or saw a card wrongly and hock boon was laughing all over.. and happened to just catch MQ waking up scene.. must say that sixireon is made up of damn good gamblers.. despite having someone who cannot tell a club from a spade [no offence meant].. and other than me who went 4 rounds this afternoon without a trick.. I think when hock boon said he was lousy he was just being humble.. my uncle also told me he didn't know how to play mahjong then later said that no expert will say it openly..

ya.. should be completing my tutorials.. chem and math.. i haven't received my physics tutorial from my rep yet cos i pon school yet came for O'nite.. bio just sucks.. [pardon my french] i know everyone has finished math and i am the slow coach..

anyways it's been a looong time since i last wrote. it's been exhausting and so perhaps that's why i've not sat down to type (not to mention paint some frames =p)

jaxoras is over. it's a.. sad occasion but certainly not one to mourn over. but it's like, poof, all those months are now firmly behind you now that orientaton IS over. many other things only start to come into perspective again (ie SATs) and now you are slowly finding the ground your feet is supposed to be standing on again. i'm getting rather draggy and all, maybe this entry is meant for my own blog but ah well. too bad, you chose to read this = p

i went through about half a day of lessons of friday and it's enough to shock me back into doing some studying over the weekend. i could not comprehend most of what was happening and i found myself with an easy tendency to fall asleep. horrible. by the time i finally left lesson it was like having attended an entire day of lessons in yiddish.

o-nite was very nervy-wrecking, because the kongmingdengs (my babies) still had not made one successful flight and i could imagine the faces on everyone should i launch fireballs into the sky. haha but you guys rock with your costumes, which sososo deserved a prize! (but not the bespectacled king) all those prayers finally worked out as we finally successfully put those kmds into the sky.. awww.

before the longawaited and much awaited stayover at jiawen's house which i've been so eagerly anticipating since the first mention of it. but given the OG and it's favourite pastime, gambling ruled the night haha, save for leslie, peiyi, vicky and jiawen's frolick in the pool. BUT dammit, i fell asleep around 3. noooo, i DON'T want to sleep!!! not at a stayover, which was why i was shocked by the daylight around me when i woke up (only to later discover you pple had taken a photo JUST before i woke up) oh well.

Anyway, my neighbour living downstairs is always smoking. Really sick of having to close the windows practically everyday... especially when the area I live in is very breezy... are there any laws forbidding this (although I really doubt so...) ? It gets so irritating that everytime we small smoke, my sister keeps mumbling something like emphysema and chronic bronchitis under her breath...

Btw, if TTT calls me mel again, I shall call him HB... =)

Haiz so sad orientation's over. And not just because tt means the start of lessons...

Btw even though some of us (or maybe everyone) thinks the OG rox and class sux, we're stuck with both with no way of escaping for the rest of our lives. So perhaps let's just drop the "OG better than class" thinking, and hope that by the end of January we'll know each other better.

Meanwhile I'll learn a few names per day, before I get overloaded with names and faces. And let's hope that by end of January everything will be fine, that the class will be more bonded together.

And that does NOT mean, of course, that Sixireon stops bonding. We exist as one, so let's continue that way... THREE CHEERS FOR SIXIREON!!!!

P.S.: Let's draw up an OG timetable after we get our new (and more packed) timetable.

Reached school at 12.15... but the conductor was late, so I guess it was okay... why so late? Yar... fell asleep on the bus, then when I got up it just passed commonwealth MRT station.... and there was a traffic jam there... so it took a long time to get to Queenstown MRT station. Funny thing is that when I took the train home, I fell asleep (again!) and ended up in punggol......

Keep thinking of the CPS cheer... no thanks to Mr Choo choo... whose artworks bring a whole new meaning to "it's written all over your face"... ...=) Anyway, hope you all had a great time...... anyway, it was quite funny to see people waking up, look around, and seeing most people still asleep go back to sleep again... hmm? 1. Since one card of the suit is out, only 12 possible cards are left.
2. Think 3!. It means that there are 3!=6 ways of arranging 3 objects.
3. You get the info from the 2nd card, and 3rd-4th-5th card.
4. Think cyclic.

After much debating i finally decided to post something though i am really new to this blog thing and all i have been told is to write rubbish. anyway today was really fun (amazing race and all). even though we got a bit stuck but we still made it in the end. *YAY* we spent a total of $2.45 on transport. also the new campus is amazing and all and i really hope they finish in time so that we can enjoy it.

I can't believe that after so much playing during hols and orientation we actually have lectures tomorrow :P. haven't touch a textbook or something that needs actual thinking in a long while or even writing notes. also it's nice to know that some people actually figured out the card trick (even if a lot of clues were given to some people *grin*). Hope everyone has fun tomorrow!

The clues weren't that bad.... and I think everyone had a great time.... so I guess mission accomplished? I think with the exception of Hockboon, I write the most. So can pple like Mel Ho write something??? I think they did slightly alter the score... just to make everyone feel good.... as in maybe Kasegon was supposed to win on the second day, but they changed it such that people don't give up hope before they start playing the game... like for today... by letting levanox win this time, the levanox people would realise they still have a fighting chance... so regardless whether they rigged it or not, I think they did it for our good, so we shall kowtow to everyone of them for their wonderful intentions...

Oh yar... my Jap is not pro.... I only scored a 74.97 for prelims, and they still happily gave me an A1... actually it's a bit wasted Teck Tee didn't take Jap.... well, according to Jiawen, teck tee's chinese is really good. Usually those people who are good at Chinese are good in Jap too... so...

Congratulations to all those pple who managed to break the code... ... =) I'm sure you all had fun...

Anyway, I was quite blur today... after I got off at Outram Park, I had a mental block and I just couldn't figure out how to get to the NEL, even though I go there every morning... hai... I think that all happens when you're tired... like lunch, I hardly talked... because I know that if I didn't concentrate hard enough on eating my food, I'll probably spill a lot of it... yar, I know I'm sad...

By the way, just now on the bus I was trying to draw everyone, but I couldn't see a lot of people, for example, I could only see Teck Tee's side view and Michael's backview... so I only drew a few(Vicky, Peiyi,Jiawen,Woon Yong...) By the way, my drawing really sucks... just drawing for fun... so don't expect too
much... I haven't showed it to you guys yet... I think it's better not to after seeing Hockboon's reaction when he saw his. (Sorry-- used you as a guinea pig)

Finally, on a lighter note, to my 2 OGLs. I swear I really cannot see past you guys, neither can I read your minds... whatever made you think that is probably coincidental... (or a bit of reverse psycology-- like how one would react if one were XXXX)

Hmm.. may switch subject comb. It just suddenly dawned upon me that my bio sucked and the only reason why I got an A1 was because of my practical and section A which pulled me up. As for section B, I only barely passed it... (of course moderation contributed to the grade as well) Maybe I'll go and take Econs instead...

Can other people write some stuff down too? It's getting pretty dull....

Today was quite fun.... yar... I know I should be getting ready for a long day ahead...but anyway, I figured I could write a little something before I go to sleep... anyway, for those interested to know, contract bridge is the one in which you have fixed partners, and it's the one which they play for competitions, etc. Your partner is always opposite you. And the bidding is quite standard (I think it's called ACOL or something). The aim is to raise the bid as high as possible, so you get more points... there're a lot of conventions, like 1 NT meaning 16-18 pts, with a balanced hand, etc. So after the pair wins the bid, the one in the pair which first suggested the suit becomes the dummy, and the player to the left of the dummy starts first. Then when he puts a card, the dummy's cards are revealed to all.... that's basically it... if you guys are interested, you can always look under the bridge standard ACOL bidding section or something. In case you guys are wondering, I'm not exactly pro at contract bridge... ... just happen to know many of the conventions...

Well, I don't think I'll enjoy my class that much... looks like all of them are muggers... and those whom I know in my class ARE muggers... hai... no more slacking for me...

Today was quite fun... couldn't dance very well, but still just joining in was fun enough... hope you enjoyed it too, Michael... ...just have fun! Anyway, I'm quite sorry today if I irritated pple today... not telling you pple how to break the code but I must say that Junjie is quite close to getting the answer... have fun!
